The at&t and t-mobile iphone 6 and 6+ will function just fine on verizon if you already have a verizon account and sim. the at&t and t-mobile iphone 6 and 6+ cannot be activated as a new device or on a new account because verizon doesn't recognize it as a verizon device.. I've tried it. it works, including cdma functions. however, you need to have an existing verizon account and a working sim. verizon won't technically "activate" a non-vzw iphone 6.. The at&t or t-mobile iphone 6, 6plus, 6s, and 6s plus will work on verizon, including the cdma 1x and 3g evdo. i know the specs above don't show the cdma evdo radio, but it is in there and active. however the at&t iphone 7 and 7plus do not work on verizon..
